Simon came up with a sample that he thought would go with another song but didn’t, so we decided to write a song around the sample. And we did. For all the fuss about the motorway extension, it sure seems to have been accepted by everyone. I myself refuse to use it, even if it means another 15 minutes getting home at night. Sometimes you’ve just got to stand up for what you believe in.
